We’re delivering Sparking Action Workshops to trade union branches interested in taking on these struggles. These sessions support active members to:

• think through their existing workplace conditions

• explore possible avenues of worker-climate action

• draw on existing examples from across the movement

We’ll follow up these workshops with additional support through our Worker-Climate Surgeries where trade unionists can share tips, troubleshoot problems, draw inspiration from other activists, and build strength together. 

We’re also developing resources for groups to find out about existing networks and examples of worker-climate action. We’ll use these in our events.

We know that it can be hard to make climate a priority for trade unionists who are fighting for their members every day. We hope that our events can create a space to think through the possibilities of climate action together, and weave climate demands into existing campaigning, so we can support each other to build the worker-climate movement we all urgently need.
